The classic Land Rover Defender finally ceased production in January 2016 after 67 years of continuous production. The final mainstream model was launched in 2012 and received the latest Ford 2.2 Puma diesel engine which was mated to a six-speed gearbox. The most luxurious variant was the XS Station Wagon which featured a fully carpeted interior, rear seats, electric front windows and air conditioning.

Our XS Station Wagon is a late production example registered on the 2nd March 2015 to the current and only owner.
The 90 is highly specified, with a similar appearance to the Autobiography special edition. The exterior is finished in Santorini black with the desirable and expensive Contrast Leather Premium Seat Pack option in Pimento and Ebony with matching Premium cubby box. Other interior enhancements include full Alcantara headlining, Alpine head unit and Alpine sub-woofer.

Externally there are Union Jack decals to the front doors and bonnet, the sliding rear side windows have privacy glass, the chassis is protected front and rear with underbody guards, lights are LED items and the light surrounds and grill have been upgraded. Finally, genuine Land Rover side steps, rear step, snorkel and bull-bar are present.

This one-owner, 10,800 mile example is in excellent order and comes complete with two keys, two remote fobs, locking wheel nuts and owner’s handbooks and pouch.
